EVO 0750 AQW – Dual-Wavelength Laser Module

The EVO 0750 AQW is a laser module with a customized optical setup for contour and quasi-simultaneous welding of plastics using two wavelengths. The patented Advanced Quasi-Simultaneous Welding (AQW) process combines two lasers within a single processing head, enabling simultaneous or alternating irradiation tailored to the material.

This results in optimized energy input, reduced cycle times, and improved weld strength. By heating both joining partners, the process expands the range of possible material combinations and ensures high-quality welding results.

The module can be flexibly configured for different laser plastic welding applications and is also suitable for use in test environments, enabling both transparent-to-transparent and transparent-to-absorbing processes within one system.

Additional monitoring modules, such as integrated displacement measurement in the clamping unit and other online control systems, ensure consistent weld quality and stable, reproducible processes.
